Due to the extremily strong winds our mast at Tapnell Farm is suffering this evening. Our engineers have been so site and assessed the situation. Essentially, the high winds are causing the dish that provide backhaul into the west wight to move so much, that it is stuggling to maintain a solid and stable link through to Newport.
During the coming week, we will look at ways that this can be improved to prevent a reoccurance.
