Fixed Wireless Access - Isle of Wight Fixed Wireless

We’re expecting some instability in the fixed wireless network on the Isle of Wight due to the monsoon like weather currently passing over the Isle of Wight.

Unfortunately our wireless technology struggles with such extreme weather in the same way mobile phone networks do.

This is now resolved.

We're investigating a major outage on our wireless network - we currently have an engineer in Telehouse looking into this.

Telehouse remote hands have been able to bypass the unit in the rack causing the problem - service is now restored.
